Tyson Blanch

Head of Bioresources

Tyson has over 10 years industry experience with Zebrafish, rodents and large animals and is currently Head of Bioresources at Centenary Institute. Tyson is on an executive committee member for the Australian and New Zealand Laboratory Animals Association (ANZLAA) and also had a previous appointment on the Australia & New Zealand Association of Aquarium Professionals (ANZAAP).
Encouraging researcher relationships and knowledge within technician teams is where Tysons passion is. He wishes to create a more in-depth and strengthened communication pathway between those in the ‘wheel-house’ and those in the lab.
Managing the Bioresources team at Centenary is light work due to the passion the team brings! Tyson is frequently reminded of how much the team cares for the animals that we are privileged to work with.
