Centenary Institute gets a 30th Birthday Facelift

Two Centenary Institute researchers—Professor Philip Hogg and Dr Alex Cole—have been awarded grants under the Tour de Cure cancer research funding scheme. The funding will support their groundbreaking research into melanoma, and aggressive cancers, including ovarian and pancreatic cancers.

Dr Chuck Bailey, Head of the Centre for Rare Diseases & Gene Therapy at the Centenary Institute, was recently interviewed by 2GB host Bill Woods.

A team led by Dr Chuck Bailey at the Centenary Institute has been awarded a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Ideas Grant to develop safer and more effective gene therapies.

Dr Felix Marsh-Wakefield, from the Centenary Institute’s Centre for Cancer Innovations and the University of Sydney, has been interviewed on the 2GB Healthy Living program.
