Cardiovascular Initiative acknowledges Professor Semsarian AM
The award was one of several designed to acknowledge the achievements of CVI members as the Cardiovascular Initiative celebrated its five year anniversary with a policy workshop and networking event.
Professor Semsarian said he was extremely honoured to receive such an award from his peers.
“The Cardiovascular Initiative is all about bringing together researchers and practitioners from differing disciplines, to improve health outcomes for Australians in all areas of cardiovascular care,” said Professor Semsarian.
“The Initiative is extremely valuable. Working closely with so many fantastic experts has greatly benefited our team’s research into sudden cardiac death and ultimately improved outcomes for many patients and their families.”
Established by the University of Sydney, the Cardiovascular Initiative aims to improve cardiovascular health for current and future generations across Australia through connecting basic, clinical and translational research professionals.
