Soiree with the Scientists
The Centenary Institute was delighted to host one of its signature supporter events, Soiree with the Scientists, on Thursday, 11th July, 2019.
The event was a chance for supporters to meet Centenary scientists up close and in person, and to hear first-hand some of the exciting medical research being worked on by the team.
Centenary scientists in the spotlight included Prof Chris Semsarian who undertook a Q&A style discussion session with young and inspiring researchers’ Dr Richard Bagnall, Dr Jessamy Tiffen and PhD student Aster Pijning. Also presenting were Centenary’s Deputy Director Prof Philip Hogg and Mr Paul Dennett, Director Development and Philanthropy.
The Centenary Institute wishes to thank all supporters and friends who attended. Philanthropic support from the community is critical to the research that we do. Thanks also to Young Centenary Foundation members who worked tirelessly during the evening and also to performers, the Harvard Krokodiloes, Harvard University’s oldest and most entertaining a cappella singing group.
