Leading Australians celebrate scientific excellence and invention

On Thursday, 13 October 2016 a host of leading Australians and some of the most highly recognised and iconic brands across various industries came together at the Art Gallery of NSW, to celebrate Centenary’s 31 years of scientific excellence and invention.
The event was compared by Sally Loane, CEO of Financial Services Council, and guests included our Patrons, Professor Dame Marie Bashir AD, CVO and Sir Nicholas Shehadie AC, OBE.
This year’s fundraising event showcased cross-industry support for and recognition of the significant impact medical research can have on our society and how it is truly saving lives. The event provided the opportunity for our guests and supporters to meet Centenary scientists and hear first-hand an account of a current immunotherapy treatment – directly from a patient – and how it has saved his life.
